Company Events

We hold a multitude of events for our employees throughout the year, which include quarterly barbeques; Executive-sponsored Meet & Greets; and a variety of informational fairs promoting all the great services available to our employees.

Exar also participates in the National event "Take Our Daughters & Sons to Work Day" to teach our children the importance of teamwork, education, work, and relationships between parent and their children. To top it off, we are proud to announce Exar has celebrated its 40th anniversary!

Community Service

We feel it is essential and rewarding to give back to our surrounding community. We hold multiple charity drives throughout the year collecting blood, clothing, food, and toys to help those in need across the Bay Area. The July Food Drive is one of the most successful programs of the year as our employees work together to donate food to children in Alameda County who go without the reduced-lunch program during the summer months.

Club EXARcise

Club EXARcise is an exclusive benefit offered to our Exar employees. Club EXARcise members are granted unlimited access to our on-site gym and sportcourts as well as special discounts toward tennis lessons, yoga classes and more!

Gym

Our state-of-the-art gym is fully equipped with top of the line equipment, including two Netpulse machines! Club EXARcise members have unlimited 24/7 access to our gym, locker room and showers.

Tennis & Basketball court

Our dual functioning tennis and basketball court is available to employees by reservation. Our experienced and knowledgeable tennis instructor, Craig, offers beginning and intermediate tennis lessons on a weekly basis.

Soccer field

The on-site soccer field is a popular perk used by Exar employees and our surrounding neighbors. Whether you want to participate or watch, lunch-time soccer games occur daily in our own backyard.

Yoga lessons

Our instructor Anna helps alleviate stress and tension on a bi-weekly basis. Yoga helps our employees improve muscle tone, flexibility, and boosts the immune system while creating a sense of well being and composure throughout the busy work day.

Dance Lessons

We are proud to have our very own Exar employee, David, offer bi-weekly dance lessons for a fun exercise and learning experience. David uses his skills and knowledge as a professional dancer to teach us a new dance every month including Salsa, Cha-Cha, East Coast Swing, Hustle, Rumba, Two-Step, and much, much more! .

Concierge Services

Purple Tie provides eco-friendly and green laundry service, shoe repair, and photo processing; all while being committed to serving Exar with convenience, efficiency, and quality.

Too busy to shop, chop, cook and clean? Sous Kitchen delivers convenient, affordable, and healthy ready-to-cook meals straight to the office. 

Toastmasters

Exar is proud to offer a local, convenient and friendly environment to facilitate Toastmasters International on a weekly basis. Toastmasters International is an organization designed to improve individuals' speaking and leadership skills by providing learn-by-doing workshops.

Kato Café

Kato Café is dedicated to providing fresh, seasonal dishes that are designed to fuel your busy work day! Kato Café offers a fresh selection of salads, sandwiches, soups and daily lunch specials that are quick, convenient and healthy.
